Laura Purfield is a singer-songwriter from a wee village on the east coast of IRELAND called Julianstown. She is an accomplished singer, having achieved a first class honours degree in Solo Performance in Contemporary Voice from Dundalk Institute of Technology. Laura has been in America since the summer of 2012, working, traveling and playing as much music as she can. It wasn’t long before Laura made the move to Nashville, to embrace all the wonderful culture and music that Music City can provide. Laura’s musical style is largely acoustic in nature and her songwriting is very lyrically driven. There are elements of pop and folk to her sound.
