Annoy The Void – New Art Exhibit!

| Posted: April 10, 2024
The Void is empty, lacking in everything, specializing in nothing. No ideas, no imagination, no insight. It can be an all consuming entity. It hates light, color, hope, and courage. Courage to enter the Void and courage to emerge from it.
Discover the world of Tom Smaldone with “Annoy the Void,” the featured show for the month of April on the Easton Public Market community art wall.
Known for his beloved chalk robot, affectionately named ChalkBorg, Smaldone’s artwork has captured the hearts of Easton residents with its playful charm and vibrant imagination. From mysterious chalk works appearing anonymously around town to the unveiling of the artist behind them, Smaldone’s journey has been one of creativity, community, and self-discovery.
“I want this show to represent my DARK and LIGHT,” says Smalldone. “From darkness comes light. Finding color in the Void. The void can be scary but as long as you have your inner light, you can see your way through. Never stop feeding the light!”

Artist Tom Smaldone
Born and raised in rural New Jersey. Already booming with creativity by the time he could hold a crayon, Tom was an early lover of books, comics, and cartoons that unlocked his inspiration and allowed him to explore impossible places, dark cities, lost worlds, the inner mind and outer galaxies. He toured the pathways of life imagination.
Tom went on the study mixed-media art at The School of Visual Arts in NYC.
His work is also shown at:
