Winter Farmers’ Market: Grain Day!

Get your grain on!

Winter is the ideal season to encourage the consumption and appreciation of a wide variety of grains – from buckwheat to barley, quinoa to whole wheat, einkorn to oatmeal! With local grain vendors, samples, and a movie screening of Good Grain, we want to support our local bakers, brewers, and growers and plant the seed of grain appreciation!

• 10a.m. – 12p.m.: Tour the markets, meet vendors, and try unique samples! Scratch-off scavenger hunt available at the EBT tent at the Easton Farmers’ Market and Highmark Farmstand in the Easton Public Market to win prizes!
• 12p.m. – 1p.m.: Catch a screening of local film Good Grain and enjoy locally grown popcorn! Donations welcome.

Bundle up and enjoy a vibrant outdoor experience in front of the Easton Public Market (325 Northampton Street) every Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon through April.

Nearly 20 vendors will offer an array of fresh produce, mushrooms, pastured meat, eggs, bread, baked goods, grains, honey, prepared foods, and the perfect kick of coffee and spirits.
