Independence Day Holiday

The Easton Public Market will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2019 in observance of our nation’s Independence Day.

The Modern Crumb will be closed on Wednesday, July 3rd and will reopen on Friday July 5th.
Mister Lee’s and Silvershell Counter + Kitchen will be closed for vacation
starting Wednesday July 3rd, and will reopen on Friday July 12th.

Kids in the Kitchen (ages 7-11) – June Classes

$25 pp (ages 7-11) | Limited to 10 Seats | 10am – 11:30 am

‘Kids in the Kitchen’ with Chef Ada Chandler focuses on building the culinary confidence of your child through kid-friendly classes, demonstrations, and interactive events. Chef Ada will teach your child how to prepare each yummy item through a combination of hands-on, observation, and taste testing — with a lot of fun mixed in!  Parents check in your child at the EPM Kitchen and then feel free to shop the market while class is in session.

June 1 – Homemade Soft Pretzel Bites with Cheese – This class will teach your child all the steps of how to make pretzel dough, including learning about yeast and how kneading is necessary for dough.

June 15 – Bacon Mac & Cheese Quesadilla. This is a delicious kid-friendly snack that your child can make for the whole family.  Click HERE to register your child for the June 15th class.

Food Network now casting for Chopped Junior Season 9!

Food Network is casting for the most talented kid chefs around the country who have what it takes to compete on Chopped Junior.  If your kid is between 9 and 12 years old, loves competition, and is one of those young culinary masterminds who have learned how to take the heat in the kitchen from Chef Ada, Chopped Junior is looking for them!

Art of Sushi

Friday, June 28th | 6pm-9pm
$55pp | Limited to 10 seats

Join Chef Christopher Bavlinka, owner of The Stone Soup, as he teaches you the basic techniques of sushi making. In this 3-hour class you will learn how to prepare rice, how to cut fish and vegetables, and how to roll sushi.   You will learn new sauces and ingredients, and sushi etiquette and history.  Bring your appetite, as you will be preparing your very own sushi to enjoy in class.  By the end of the evening you will have mastered the basics of creating sushi so you can make and enjoy this popular Asian cuisine at home!  Click HERE to register!


Children’s Story Hour

Every Wednesday | 9:30 am in the FreySmiles Kids’ Zone

EPM and Book & Puppet Co. are teaming up to offer families a free morning storyhour. The venerable storytellers from Book & Puppet Co. will share some of their favorite tales and characters every Wednesday, as kids and their parents are invited to explore the market’s FreySmiles Kids’ Zone. Grab a breakfast sandwich from Dundore & Heister, a drink from Fieldstone Coffee Roasters & Tea, or a sweet treat from one of your favorite vendors.

Every Saturday behind EPM 9am – 1pm

The Easton Compost Program was launched in July 2018 as a partnership between the City of Easton, American Biosoils, and the Greater Easton Development Partnership . We’re completing the food loop – farm to fork to farm, again.  Compost buckets are free for anyone who lives within City of Easton limits, but we ask for a $20 donation to the program for those outside of the City. Interested in registering for a bucket? Email Miranda@eastonpartnership.org for more information or see us in the parking lot behind the Easton Public Market on Saturdays between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. Buckets are distributed on scheduled dates – first come, first served.
