    Carlos Barata is a 27 year old, solo singer-songwriter and performer from Southside Bethlehem, PA. Soulful vocals paired with accessible songwriting make his alternative style something sweet and special.

    He debuted his first album “Believe” in 2009, followed by his second “This State We?re In” in 2011. In 2015 he released his first self-titled album and has shared the stage with local musicians and international touring artists such as Matt & Kim, Dispatch, Matt Costa, and more.

    Carlos is working on new music, scheduling more shows, and studying to become a Board Certified Music Therapist. He is grateful for the support of his parents, his partner Christa, as well as family, friends, and people that constantly inspire him.

    Roi and the Secret People Acoustic Show bring together Mike Roi and Jason Hedrington who will be stripping down the bands full electric sound for a more intimate presentation.  Their original material takes a few nods at styles based in Rock and Roll from America to England, and will be playing music from their last three releases “Dog St., Phoenix and Truck Stop Sushi.

    RSP has played such renowned clubs as Rockwood Music Hall, Mercury Lounge and Arlene’s Grocery in New York City, and The World Live Cafe, The Northstar Bar, The Tin Angel and The Legendary Dobbs in Philadelphia. In 2019 they played to a packed out crowd at Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA as well as being nominated in several categories for the 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Lehigh Valley Music Awards. RSP took home two awards in 2017 for “Most Outstanding Rock Band” and ” Outstanding All Around Performer.

    The band is currently based out of Easton, Pa. with both Mike and Jason working as music instructors at the Easton School of Rock.
