You have probably heard about ‘Kids in the Kitchen’ with Chef Ada Chandler at the Easton Public Market – a very popular cooking class on the Easton food scene. This class, ‘Tots in the Kitchen,” is similar but for younger children, ages 2-4, who still need an adult by their side. Each parent has the choice to cook with their child or just assist, depending on the child’s age and capabilities.
This week’s recipe: Avocado Blueberry Muffins — tasty, healthy and surprising simple for your child to make. Parents can bring a small container to take some muffins home for their little ones to enjoy.

This ‘Teens in the Kitchen’ class with Chef Ada Chandler is for pre-teens / teens ages 12-14 and focuses on continuing to build the culinary confidence of your child who is just entering middle school or high school, with cooking demonstrations and interactive events led by Chef Ada. Along with new techniques and recipes, the students will also learn proper kitchen hygiene along with safe kitchen utensil handling at every class.
This week’s recipe: Apple Pie French Toast with Cinnamon Whipped Cream is a tasty breakfast treat that your teen can prepare for the entire family combining the taste of good ole’ American apple pie with a French toast spin!
