Kids in the Kitchen with Chef Ada – September Classes

‘Kids in the Kitchen’ with Chef Ada Chandler focuses on building the culinary confidence of your child through kid-friendly classes, demonstrations, and interactive events. Chef Ada will teach your child how to prepare each yummy item through a combination of hands-on, observation, and taste testing — with a lot of fun mixed in!    Parents check in your child at the Kitchen and then feel free to shop the market while class is in session!

Morning Conversation on Food

The Easton Hunger Coalition hosts the free public “Morning Conversation on FOOD” series at the Community Room inside the Easton Public Market on the third Wednesday of each month at 9 am.  Participants will explore such topics as food, local food systems, food justice, food waste, food recovery, and hunger.

This Wednesday join Megan McBride and Miranda Wilchak of the Easton Compost Program to learn about the progress of the program that was launched in July.


Healthy Living Wednesday

Easton Hospital presents Healthy Living Wednesdays in the EPM Kitchen!  Join Nutritionists Alison Unger and Amy Romberger to learn about eating healthy throughout the year as they share tips and recipes on how to promote a healthy lifestyle.

This week’s recipe is “End of Summer Gazpacho,” using produce sourced from the Highmark Farmstand at EPM. The Easton Hospital Nutrition Team will also talk about the nutritious benefits of all of the ingredients and discuss quick weeknight meal ideas for back to school.

Collection Every Saturday behind EPM 9am – 1pm

Heard the news? Easton has started its very first residential compost program. Composting, a way to recycle nutrients from organic materials back to the soil, cuts food waste and greenhouse gas emissions. Our program is all about Easton: we’re working together for a greener community, additional learning opportunities, activities and events, and partnerships.
