Sunday, July 1st | 10 am to 11:30 am $20 pp (ages 7-11) | Limited to 10 Seats‘Kids in the Kitchen’ with Chef Ada Chandler focuses on building the culinary confidence of your child through kid-friendly classes, demonstrations, and interactive events.  Along with new techniques and recipes that are taught weekly, Chef Ada teaches proper kitchen hygiene along with safe kitchen utensil handling at every class.Celebrating July 4th with a Red, White and Blue dessert : Strawberry Shortcake with Blueberry Sauce.  Learn how to make this delicious desert full of sweet juicy berries piled atop a rich and crumbly cake, topped with a soft cloud of homemade whipped cream, and drizzled with simple-to-make blueberry sauce.

Ice Cream Social

Here's the scoop! Summer is here and what better way to stay cool than with some delicious ice cream.  The EPM Ice Cream Social will happen on the fist and third Sundays (did somebody say 'sundaes') of July and August -- just when ice cream tastes the best.
The EFM Kitchen will be crafting their own in-house homemade ice cream with fruits and ingredients sourced from local farms,  tropical growers and others for the freshest tasting flavors.  Savor the fresh taste of berries from Jose Porter Farm and Trauger's Farm; tropical fruits from Four Seasons; peaches from Comeback Farm & Scholl Orchards and Scholl's apples too!  And, of course, the traditional vanilla and chocolate ice cream.  And don't forget the toppings like cherries, sprinkles, cookie dough pieces, Oreo cookie pieces, graham cracker pieces, marshmallows with sauces like hot fudge, caramel, Nutella, and a fresh homemade raspberry sauce or peach sauce.
So grab some friends, your family or a neighbor and have fun making your own yummy ice cream float, the sundae of your dream, a loaded waffle sandwich, or scoops of your favorite ice cream!

The class will be tossing and shaking bags full of yummy mango ice cream mix to make for a great dessert, and will also learn how to make a homemade pineapple sauce which might end up being one of your favorite desserts.

Wednesday, July 18th | 9:30am – 11:00am$35/child (includes parent) - Limited to 16 childrenToddler aprons available for $6 eachYou have probably heard about Kids in the Kitchen with Chef Ada Chandler at the Easton Public Market - a very popular cooking class on the Easton food scene. This class, Tots in the Kitchen, is similar but for younger children, ages 2-4, who still need an adult by their side. This hands-on cooking class with Chef Ada allows parents to assist their little ones in measuring dry and wet ingredients. Each parent has the choice to cook with their child alongside of them or just assist, depending on the child's age and capabilities. The class features simple baking recipes where the children learn how to measure dry ingredients and mix various batters. Parents can bring a small container to take a few scrumptious goodies home for their little ones to enjoy.

Wednesday, July 18th | 2pm-3pm | FreeEaston Hospital presents Healthy Living Wednesdays in the EPM Kitchen!  Join Nutritionists Alison Unger and Amy Romberger to learn about eating healthy throughout the year as they share tips and recipes on how to promote a healthy lifestyle.This week's theme is a “Protein Packed Dinner."  Alison and Amy will be preparing Lentil Stuffed Peppers which incorporates lentils and ground meat packed into a colorful pepper.  The class will also talk about the nutrition benefits of all of the ingredients.  Delicious and healthy!!

In this 3-hour class you will learn how to prepare rice, how to cut fish and vegetables, how to roll sushi, and learn the ingredients used in making Maki Sushi. Bring your appetite, as you will be preparing your very own sushi to enjoy in class.  By the end of the evening you will have mastered the basics of creating sushi so you can surprise your guests at home!
